A headshot is what you look like,
a portrait is who you are.
We had two needs: 1.) New headshots firm-wide, as they had gone unchanged for 20 years; 2.) Find a way to showcase the unique individuals on the team. I worked with the photographer, James Douglas, to develop the aesthetic and look for the shots, while collaborating with the staff on what message they wanted to send with their photos.
