Union

Union grew its staff, services, and project types and needed to update its marketing and branding to match. The goal was to connect with clients, communities, employees, and peers using both traditional and digital media while staying true to the company's mission of making a positive impact on communities through architecture and urban design.

Brand Refresh

Since the company changed from a single name firm to Union Studio in 2011, the firm's collateral had not been updated. Given that all marketing materials, rfp responses, and external communication used the same layout, updating the appearance and feel of the collateral was one of the top priorities. Based on its intended use, we wanted to give each product a distinct identity.

Social Media

Union's previous social media presence was not showing them as leaders in architecture or giving followers a honest look at the business. The content was mostly poor quality photos of unimportant things, and didn't show their great work or tell their story. Most of the posts were deleted, and new content was created with better project photography, photos taken at construction sites, and images that showed the team, their personalities and what they do.

Union’s followers on Instagram grew from 324 to over 2,000. Engagement has been up by over 50% on average.
